Owner, Director, Physiotherapist
Martin van Heerden
Martin is a physiotherapy enthusiast whose journey began at the University of Pretoria in 2002.
After his community service in Barberton, he ventured to the UK, where he specialized in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, along with aquatic physiotherapy and management for 7 years.
In 2012, Martin returned to South Africa, setting up his own practice with a focus on creating a positive and happy environment for patients, staff, and referring doctors alike. Determined to stay ahead in his field, Martin is currently pursuing a Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of the Witwatersrand. Martin is actively involved in the South African Society of Physiotherapy, contributing to the growth and development of the profession.
When he’s not tending to his practice or studies, Martin enjoys spending time with his three wonderful teenagers. As a personal interest, he keeps bees and endeavors to play the cello, finding a sense of calm and balance
